The purpose of this web site is to encourage everyone to catalog the list of Hindu temples in India and around the world, as well as to highlight the various miracles that occur at these temples. There are many temples where miracles occur on a daily basis to pilgrims who visit these temples. The most recent was the 'Visa God' in Andhra Pradesh. There are numerous reports about how those that do not get visas, get visas after they pray at the temple. There are several cases where sick people visit a temple and see dramatic recoveries from diseases that are considered unconquerable. Hindu literature and folk stories are full of lore about miracles at various temples. Every week, 100,000 worshipers converge at the Chilkur Balaji Temple in Moinabad mandal in the Rangareddi district, Andhra Pradesh, to seek the blessings of Balaji for obtaining a visa. Before the temple became famous for its powers only a few hundred used to visit the temple. Even the Wall StreetJournal wrote about the power of the temple's deity.

This web site is designed as a people's web site. While we have documented several temples, there are numerous temples that are not on the list that we want you to add. We also want the public to submit articles pictures and videos of the miracles so that others are aware of the great things that happen at these temples. We want to enlist from the public a group of Editors - people who know a temple very well, and its miracles and who can write about the temple and its miracles, and update the information about the temples. India is a country full of holy places of pilgrimage. Many of such places can take you to see the miracles with your own eyes. One such place of pilgrimage is Paxitirth, located near the city of Chennai in South India. This is a very holy and important place for Hindu pilgrims as it presents the opportunity to see the Lord Shiva and Goddess Amba with their naked eyes everyday.
